LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

The Learning and Development Committee (L&D) aims to provide the RMHS Alumni Tree Project (ATP) scholars another venue outside of the classroom to gain new knowledge and skills through the various bi-monthly learning sessions they attend. They are introduced to new, interesting and relevant topics that range from: self-care, core values, technology trends, understanding Philippine politics, helping sustain a green environment for the community and country, financial literacy, love of God and others. This is made possible in partnership with volunteer key resources and organizations who willingly share their knowledge and experience as they talk about their expertise on the topic.

Most importantly, the L&D sessions allow the scholars a fun opportunity to bond and collaborate with each other. Out of the 100+ scholars, the sessions are regularly attended by 70% mix of high school and college students. In some occasions, we also invite non-scholars from RMHS to attend to equally benefit from the L&D learning sessions.

  • Why It Is Important to PRAY

on topics such as budgeting, saving, investing and managing their lean resources at a young age

on topics such as GMRC, core values, self care and why should scholars be mindful of their mental health journey

Topics like technology trends, understanding Philippine politics, helping sustain a green environment for the community and country, love of God and others. Because we believe that these learning topics outside the classroom setting lead to a well-rounded education that equip students with practical skills necessary for their successful future.
