In gratitude to RMHS, the Alumni Tree Project (ATP) offers a unique opportunity to give back and at the same time, be recognized. Our mission is to provide financial assistance and conduct relevant learning and development programs to enhance the socio-civic consciousness of students and help them become responsible citizens of the country. To achieve this mission, personal data is processed as we offer scholarships to deserving individuals. In the spirit of adhering to the principles of Transparency, Legitimate Purpose, and Proportionality, the Alumni Tree Project provides the following privacy policy for processing your personal data in relation to our stated mission and objective:

  1. We collect personal data such as personal information of the applicant, legal guardian, and siblings related to contact information, and sensitive personal information related to age and education data. We also collect financial related data of the legal guardian as part of the application process.
  2. The personal data collected is processed for the purpose of scholarship application processing and evaluation to the effect of awarding of scholarship to deserving individuals.
  3. The personal data collected as an applicant shall only be stored for the duration of the application processes and relevant regulatory retention and record keeping requirements that shall not go beyond a period of 1 year from the end of the application process. Successful recipients or beneficiaries shall have their personal data retained as a scholar of ATP and no longer as an applicant.
  1. We transfer your personal data as an applicant to prevent redundant data collection and shall process existing personal data collected for the purposes of providing the scholarship and scholarship monitoring requirements.
  2. We additionally collect sensitive personal information about your educational performance data on a regular basis as part of the scholar or beneficiary monitoring and disbursement related processes.
  3. The personal data collected for each scholar shall be stored and retained for the duration of the scholarship and and relevant regulatory retention and record keeping requirements that shall not go beyond a period of 10 years from the end of the scholarship grant.
  4. Public disclosure, dissemination, for marketing and/or information related purposes shall require express consent prior to processing and disclosure of your personal data.
  1. We collect personal data such as personal information of the donor or volunteer related to contact information, and sensitive personal information related to philosophical affiliations.
  2. The personal data is processed for the purpose of maintaining contact and relationship with the sponsor or volunteer as well as information dissemination purposes in events and activities of ATP.
  3. The personal data collected shall be stored and retained for a duration of 5 years and is subject to periodic verification to maintain its accuracy. Any extension of retention shall be at the express consent of the sponsor or volunteer unless needed for regulatory reporting compliance.
  1. The personal data you submit is kept confidential and is not disclosed to external entities outside of ATP. Any external disclosure shall require an explicit consent from the data subject whose personal data is to be disclosed.
  2. Upon reaching the end of the retention period of personal data, all collected personal data shall be securely disposed to prevent future processing. However, anonymized and statistical data shall be retained beyond the retention period for internal management and process improvement purposes.
